While we fully intended for this to a “fun story” episode, what ended up happening was that we discussed a lot of history—awkward history, painful history, incidentally feminist-leaning history that makes our current cultural moment particularly uncomfortable, and history that leads us to reflect on what it means to even consider history at all.
